How to get Hobart 500551 EZ TIG 165i 230-Volt Inverter-Based AC/DC Welder

Hobart 500551

i was looking for easy to use, inexpensive tig welder after taking a class to use for hobby work. So far it is working great, easy to use, no problems encountered. Can't say much about the weld quality, but that is the operator, not the equipment. When i actually do it right, the welds look very nice. i haven't tried aluminum yet, I've just been working on a welding table from mild steel. Then I'll start on some 4130 chromoly & Aluminum practice.Recommended if you want an easy to use, inexpensive machine.See all 1 customer reviews... to 3/16, Electrode Size (in.): 3/32 collet & collet body with 2% ceriated tungsten, Electrode Cable Length (ft.): 12 1/2, Clamp Cable Length (ft.): 12, Regulator and Gas Hose Included: Yes, Shielding Gas Required: Yes, Power Cord (ft.): 10, Dimensions L x W x H (in.): 17 x 9 7/8 x 23 7/8 U.S.A Volts: 230, Amps: 165, Duty Cycle: 20% at 150 Amps, Amperage Adjustments: Infinite, Range Selection: 10 - 165, Weldable Metals: Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, steel/chrome moly, Weld Thickness (in.): 22-ga Easiest AC/DC TIG welder to set up and use It has superior weld performance ... »» Read more...
